Inspiration Board :: Easter Activities

When it comes to Easter activities, you can never have too many options to keep the little ones entertained!

Colored sand boxes are always a hit.

We invited some furry friends, too!

And of course, the Easter bunny made an appearance!

Pony Rides were a new activity last year!

Before the egg hunt begins, it's a tradition to have a good friend read the Easter story. This is a great way to gather everyone together one last time before the real festivities begin!

Inspiration Board :: Easter Menu

It's no secret that one of the best parts about our Easter Egg Hunt is getting to enjoy all the yummy sweets and treats. A few of last year's menu items included peep cupcakes, pb&j sandwiches and macaroons. To drink, we served Southern Sangria and Lavender Champagne to the adults, and had Rosemary Lemonade and Sweet Tea for everyone to enjoy. See drink recipes below.

Rabbit food! Our take on a crudite plate.

We used this old horse trough to serve grab-and-go sodas.

Southern Sangria, and Lavender Champagne for the adults!

Southern Sangria : What you'll need
(Makes 1 Pitcher)
- 1 bottle of white wine
-1/2 litre of club soda
-1/2 cup agave
-1 lemon
-1 peach, sliced
-mint sprigs for garnish

Lavender Champagne : What you'll need
-Chilled champagne or sparkling wine
-1/2 cup of sugar
-1/2 cup of water
-1 tablespoon of dried lavender
-Fresh lavender to garnish

Rosemary makes the perfect garnish to lemonade.

Adding lots of limes and lemons to your Sweet Tea will give amazing flavor!

Inspiration Board :: Easter Centerpieces

What better way to kick-off our week of Easter inspirations, than with Easter centerpieces? One of our favorite elements of Easter decor!

For last year's centerpieces, we covered large silver trays with lots of moss and placed (ceramic) chocolate bunnies throughout. To finish off the look, we filled mason jars with all sorts of purple spring flowers like tulips, and sweet peas.

For the kid's tables, we placed nests made of branches down the center of the table and placed these crayons that look like birch wood on the ends of each table - a fun activity for the kids to enjoy!

Most Wanted :: AERIN Spring Candles

Let me introduce you to my new favorite candle for spring, AERIN's Pink Climbing Rose. The scent is a lovely combination of pink roses, mandarin orange, Asian lychee, and Anjour pear. If there is one candle you need for spring, this is it.

I'm also a fan of the other AERIN spring candles, Wild Mulberry, Sky Flower, and Trumpet Vine, just to name a few....
