I know I'm ready for Summer when I start showing my stripes - striped clothing, that is. Whether sporting a classic Saint James top, or using my new striped Iphone case, this is one summer staple worth investing in.

With summer on the near horizon, I'm daydreaming about hosting a dinner party by the beach. I found these lyford napkins recently and think they would make the perfect addition to my summer tabletop. What do you think? Don't they just scream summer?!

Most Wanted :: Salvatore Ferragamo L'ICONA

When it comes to classics, Salvatore Ferragamo's Vara flats will always hold a spot at the top of the list. In fact, these iconic flats recently celebrated their 35th anniversary. To mark the anniversary, Ferragamo, with the help of photographer Claiborne Swanson Frank, shot this spectacular campaign, L'Icona. 

But wait it gets better, Ferragamo also launched this online tool that lets you customize your very own pair. Personally, I can't wait to get my hands on these navy beauties.

Tablescape Tuesday :: Slim and Sage Plates

Have you heard of Slim and Sage? We recently came across the brand when we spotted these plates. At first we were drawn to them purely because of the bold geometric pattern (and they reminded us of these), but come to find out, there is much more to these plates then just a great pattern! The plates are designed to help with portion control. One quarter of the plate is for lean protein, one-quarter for whole grains, and one-half is for veggies. Is it just us, or is this concept pretty genius?

Tablescape Tuesday :: Alberto Pinto

We are always looking for tablescapes inspiration. Whether it's in the pages of a design book, or at a friend's luncheon, there are so many places to find inspiration. Recently, I've been drawn to the late Alberto Pinto's tablescape work. From his great use of bold color schemes, to his incredibly beautiful china, it's no surprise his Table Setting book is one of the best out there. 

 You can re-create this stunning (and quirky) tablescapes with your very own 'Champignon' set

Bar Stools

 You all were so helpful last week when I asked for some assistance with my decision on which hood to choose for my new kitchen (stay tuned for the final decision!).   

Now I'm in the process of trying to find some bar stools for the kitchen.  Being pregnant has completely gotten in the way of my decision making abilities!
